It is unique in the way it deals with contrast. Personally, i'm very happy with the results so far

I consider the Cinema Style more filmic than the Cinestyle

Specs

The CINEMA PS, doesn't NEED CC, but LIKES it.

As the CINEMA Picture Style doesn't need any LUT or adjustments, you can save days of color correction by starting with a gorgeous, sharp look. If you want more, or you want your own look, you can color correct it and achieve great results.

Flat styles use only the mid portion of the RGB gamma, losing data all the way. This is NOT RAW. Don't fool yourself mimicking RAW users. It's another world,.. that needs tons of CC days and data storage, and huge budgets.

Features:

- Great perceived latitude, but with a nice contrasty image
- Keeps details on shadows and highlights while remaining quite contrasted
- Vivid colors on low saturated areas, no greysh or monochromatic casts
- Analog like colors on high saturated areas
- Sharp image
- Doesn't need color correction, but feel free to grade it
- Film colorimetry: Hollywood movies that sports similar colorimetry: Super 8, Transformers 2, The Island, and many others.
